Trip of a Lifetime

Recently, K (my dear wife) and I decided we need to get away from our daily humdrum lives and take a break. The break assumed ambitious proportions and soon translated into our trip of a lifetime - we decided to go to Europe on a backpacking holiday. We roped in N and S, another couple friends of ours and started the planning. After about a month of travel and stay bookings, visa chasing, forex gathering, etc., we were off on 26th June to Rome, our first destination.
